Jacalyn graduated from McMaster University in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Working with phenomenal Athletic Therapists and Physiotherapists in Ontario, and seeing the benefits of both professions in rehabilitation science, Jacalyn decided to become both. She completed her Athletic Therapy degree at the University of Manitoba in 2013, and finished her Masters of Science Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in the Fall of 2015. She is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

She also has a background in treating athletes in hockey, basketball, rugby, and volleyball. Jacalyn enjoys helping anyone get back to the sport they love to play, and utilizes her extensive sport background to help understand the needs of athletes and their bodies.
Jacalyn predominantly uses manual and exercise therapy for her rehabilitation treatments. Currently, she is challenging the Orthopaedic Levels, and completed her Level 1 acupuncture certification through Acupuncture Canada in 2017.
In her spare time, Jacalyn enjoys any type of physical activity that challenges her and gets her outdoors.
